Duplicate Your Photo:

If you edit a photo using the Photos Editor app, the original image gets replaced with the changes. To ensure that the original image doesn’t get changed, though the changes made are reversible, it is advisable to create a duplicate of your photo for the first few days.

There is no new trick to open the Photo Editor app. Simply go to the Photos app and open the photo that you wish to edit. There will be three options for an existing photograph or if you are clicking a new one, there will be four options to edit the photo.

Make Desired Edits:

Now turn average to awesome images in a few tweaks. Adjust brightness, color, sharpness, and other balance saturation, exposure or white balance as per your need. Aspect ratio is also one of the important changes that you can make to use the photos in presentations or on other devices.

Once you are all set, you can save your edited photo or discard changes if you are not satisfied with your work and start all over again. Even if you have saved the changes, you can always go to the same photo and it will give you the option to revert changes to the original state.

If you have the iPhone 11, 11 Pro, 11 Pro Max, XR, XS, or XS Max series, you get a few more options for ‘Depth Control’ to change the backgrounds of the image. The Portrait Lighting option allows you to apply studio lighting, Contour Light, Stage Light effects by sliding the slider towards left or right.
