With the never-ending innovation in the smartphone industry, it is hard to keep up the pace without hitting your pockets. So, Huawei launched its new phone just to make sure that all the cutting-edge design features and technologies are available in mid-range too.

What is this Huawei Honor 7X?

From establishment in 1997 to become the top-selling smartphone manufacturer in 2017, the journey was not easy for Huawei. Huawei gained its success through its customer satisfaction and smartphones giving a premium feel at an affordable price.

With the introduction of 18:9 aspect ratio to the smartphones, everyone dreamt of having a phone with this ratio but an affordable price. Huawei became the first company to launch the mid-range smartphone with a display of this aspect ratio. This phone also has metal unibody to become the best choice in this price range without compromising the performance. Therefore, let us see what made this phone special and what its specifications are with a deep dig into the same-

Body & Design: Honor 7X is the perfect blend of metal and glass, which delivers the premium feel and look when held in hand by its metal unibody design. It comes with the aluminum back and corning gorilla glass at the front. It hosts a dual camera setup at the back and an unbelievable 0.30-inch thickness. This phone can fulfill your entire requirements with its richly made lightweight body, weighing only 165g.

Display Quality & dimensions: Smaller screen design has been totally smashed by the new bigger screen design fitted in same sized phone as before. This smartphone hosts an IPS LCD capacitive touch display of 5.93 inches with 77% of screen-to-body ratio. This screen is of 1080×2160 pixels with pixel density of 407 ppi and 18:9 aspect ratio. As the technology and inventions are widening in the field of smartphones, the percentage of the screen-to-body ratio is also increasing and believe me there is more to come.

Performance & Memory: It hosts an HI Silicon Kirin 659 processor, which is an octa-core processor from which four cores are clocked at 2.36 GHz and other four at 1.7 GHz under the hood. To provide a lag free and fast performance the processor is backed up with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage, which can be upgraded up to 256 GB though micro-SD card but at the cost of second SIM card slot as there, is no dedicated micro-SD slot. For gaming and providing crispy graphics, the phone holds Mali-T830 MP2 as its GPU.

Software and Battery: Without an intelligent software, a smartphone can be full of bugs and lags as it plays an important role in the interface between the user and the smartphone. Keeping this aspect in mind Honor 7X comes with a stable EMUI 5.1 operating system, which is built over Google’s Android 7.0 Nougat and has tons of gestures, features, and customizable options. This perfect of blend of beauty and performance gets it power from a 3340 mAh lithium-ion non-removable battery. Its battery can give a standby time of 647 hours and talk time of up to 21 hours on 3G network on a single full charge.

Camera definition: In 2018, most of the phones host a dual camera setup at the back for bokeh effect and Huawei Honor 7X falls in this category. It has a 16 MP f/2.2 and 2 MP camera at the back with phase detection, autofocus, geo-tagging, HDR and many features that are more useful. At the front, we get an 8 MP f/2.0 shooter which can record videos at 1080p.

Although the phone lacks image stability, it perfectly captures the depth of every picture with its Portrait modes. Besides this, beautifying mode can also be used to get better selfies every now and then.

Other root features: It has the latest Bluetooth 4.1 along with GLONASS and A-GPS installed for GPS. Accelerometer, proximity sensor, compass, active noise cancellation, and rear-mounted fingerprint sensor is also loaded on the rig to make the most of the use of this smartphone possible.

Moreover, the phone is now equipped with more features like QR scanner and face-unlock feature making is a perfect competitor for the ones demanding higher price.

Price of the device: This perfect mid-range phone, which can give you awesome experience with all day of lag free usage at the price range of Rs. 12,999 only on Amazon and other online shopping websites. You can buy this phone through Flipkart mobile sale to get up to 10% extra discount provided by the website and 5% cashback via Axis buzz cards.
