The new area is called Prifddinas, the crystal city, which had been sat untouched on the Old School Runescape map for years. Players no longer need to wonder about the city as it will open up to them when they complete the Song of Elves quest and finish the 17 year long story. There is a few new things inside the city such as a PvM minigame (The Gauntlet) and a brand new demon skilling boss called Zalcano. Completing these challenges will unlock the brand new crystal armor, tools and the legendary blade for Saeldor which cannot be sold or traded.
You cannot buy your way to victory with cheap OSRS Gold to obtain the new crystal, you will need to fight through the challenges to get the goodies. However, there are quite a few new shops in Prifddinas for you to check out and unload some of your extra OSRS Gold. There are also new things to collect and sell on the Grand Exchange market giving you some new opportunities to gain some extra OSRS Gold through this expansion also.
