6. Restart the router settings

When it comes to accessing data over the Internet, the router settings are crucial. An incorrect setting inside its configuration can often cause the internet connection to be disrupted. Try rebooting the linked router to resolve the Err Internet disconnected problem.

If the issue persists after re-logging in, you can reset the setup. To do so, navigate to the router’s settings page and press or hold the Reset button for a few seconds.

If the bug is fixed, you’ll need to repeat the process any time you open Chrome. As a result, you should set Chrome to open with administrative privileges by default. The measures are as follows:

  • Right-click on the Google Chrome browser to begin.
  • From the context menu, choose Properties.
  • Click the Compatibility tab in the properties window when it appears.
  • Mark the Run this programme as an administrator checkbox from now on.
  • Apply and then OK.
  • When you make the changes above, Chrome will start as an administrator by default.

9. Change Internet Options to default

The heart of the network configurations is Internet Options. However, it can sometimes cause internal settings to be misled, resulting in an Err Internet disconnected error on your device. This can be fixed by setting this choice to normal. To complete this mission, follow the instructions below –

  • Step 1- Press Enter after clicking on Search and typing Control Panel.
  • Step 2-On the next window, click Internet Options.

  • Step 2- On the next window, click Internet Options.
  • Step 3- Then, on the Advanced page, press the Reset button.

  • Step 6- If a confirmation window pops up, choose Yes.

Wait for the next version of the removed software if the above task resolves the Err Internet disconnected problem. If there was no problem with the previous versions, you should instal them as well.

13. Via Registry Editor

If none of the above workarounds succeed in resolving the Err Internet disconnected issue, you should try making registry changes. Here’s how to get started:

Note: Any tampering with the registry will cause the Windows 10 operating system to malfunction. As a result, we recommend creating a System Restore Point so that you can return to previous settings.

  • Step 1- To open the Run dialogue, click the Win + R hotkey together.
  • Step 2- Type Regedit in the text box and hit the OK button.
  • Step 3- On the upcoming UAC wizard, choose Yes.
  • Step 4- After that, go to the following address –
